This paper outlines the clinical doctoral research plan (funded by HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic Programme) to engage the wide range of people who use alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) to understand the perspectives of users in order to develop a Patient Reported Outcome Measure (PROM) to evaluate equipment and services.

Background: Endoscopic gallbladder-preserving cholecystolithotomy (EGPC) has become an alternative option for treating cholecystolithiasis. However, developing a new method of EGPC in which the gallbladder wall is not damaged remains a challenge. Purpose: To describe the downsizing post-closure technique for access hemostasis during emergency endovascular repair (EVAR) in ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms (RAAA).
Materials And Methods: A cohort of eight patients underwent emergency EVAR through 16 femoral access sites for infrarenal RAAA. The downsizing post-closure technique, which involves a reduction in the size of the large-bore access by advancing a 10F sheath, was consistently applied.

The characteristics of spontaneous movements in infants are essential for the early detection of neurological pathologies, with the Prechtl method being a widely recognized approach. While the Prechtl method is effective in predicting motor risks, its reliance on the evaluator's expertise limits its scalability, particularly in low-income areas. In such contexts, the use of inertial sensors combined with automated analysis presents a promising accessible alternative; however, more research is necessary to get results comparable to those of the Precht method.
