A 32-year-old man referred to the cardiology clinic for palpitations was found to have paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) on 24-hour Holter monitoring. His general and cardiac examinations were unremarkable. A transthoracic echocardiographic study to exclude structural heart disease was performed and showed an abnormal structure in relation to the right ventricular (RV) free wall; however, poor echocardiographic windows precluded proper characterisation. Cardiac MR (CMR) was therefore performed. Cine images (figure 1 and online supplementary videos 1 and 2) demonstrated the abnormal structure. Dynamic pass of contrast (rest perfusion module) showed the sequence of intracavitary enhancement across different cardiac chambers in the horizontal long-axis plane (figure 1 and online supplementary video 3).heartjnl;103/18/1472/F1F1F1Figure 1Still frames from balanced steady state free precession images in the horizontal long-axis plane (A,B). Objective: To investigate the clinical application effect of the along-axis extraction method in the extraction of impacted mandibular third molars (IMTM) and to compare the biomechanical characteristics of different root extraction techniques through three-dimensional finite element analysis.
Methods: A total of 68 patients requiring IMTM extraction were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group underwent the along-axis extraction method, while the control group underwent the traditional buccal bone removal and root extraction method. The duration of the procedure, intraoperative and postoperative complications were recorded.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to measuring the morphology and position of bilateral temporomandibular joints in patients with unilateral and bilateral molar scissor bite and simulating the deformation of the mandible during occlusion, in order to provide thesis for the diagnosis of temporomandibular joint disease in patients with unilateral and bilateral molar scissor bite.
Methods: This study was a retrospective study. A total of 10 patients with unilateral molar scissor bite (the unilateral molar scissor bite group) and 10 patients with bilateral molar scissor bite (the bilateral molar scissor bite group) were selected as the experimental group, and 20 adult patients with classⅠ of angle classification of similar ages were selected as the control group.

Lower third molars are frequently extracted due to pathologies of the dental follicle, pericoronitis, advanced carious lesions, orthodontic reasons (risk of anterior tooth crowding) or causing periodontal or carious lesions in the distal area of the second molar. The case presented here is of a male patient that came to our Clinic experiencing pain in the distal area of one of his old bridges. The clinical examination revealed a malpositioned, but unusually functional third molar; it is a very rare situation for an initially impacted third molar to erupt in an almost horizontal position and not only to remain on the arch for a very long period of time, but also to contribute to mastication efficiency and occlusion, despite the fact that masticatory forces are distributed at a right angle on its long axis and that mastication takes place on the distal surface of the crown and root, and not on the usually occlusal cusped surface.

Objectives: The distribution and size of the zone of the centres of resistance (ZCR) are critical for accurate orthodontic treatments and minimizing unexpected tooth movements. However, this information remains unclear for mandibular incisors and canines. This study aims to address these gaps in knowledge.
