The authors review the studies describing dental changes after radiotherapy or curietherapy of the cervicofacial region published over the last 50 years. They discuss more particularly: --direct and indirect effects on the teeth,--lesions of the salivary glands,--dental lesions,--fluoride prophylaxis for dental lesions after irradiation.

Background: Descemet's membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) is a highly effective procedure for corneal endothelial dysfunction; however, once a DMEK graft is deployed, repositioning can be challenging. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of a technique that utilizes infusion and small air bubbles to reposition a misaligned deployed graft.
Methods: This retrospective interventional case series enrolled patients who underwent DMEK between January 2022 and July 2023, including cases where the DMEK graft was attached and unfolded in off-center positions".

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a type of hemorrhagic stroke with high morbidity, mortality and disability, and early brain injury (EBI) after SAH is crucial for prognosis. Recently, stem cell therapy has garnered significant attention in the treatment of neurological diseases. Compared to other stem cells, dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) possess several advantages, including abundant sources, absence of ethical concerns, non-invasive procurement, non-tumorigenic history and neuroprotective potential.

Background: Acute aortic dissection is a life-threatening cardiovascular emergency with high mortality rates. Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) is a critical complication in patients with acute aortic dissection; however, its incidence and impact on outcomes remain inconclusive.
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate DIC prevalence and prognosis in patients with aortic dissection.

Objectives: To clarify the risk factors affecting prognosis after primary tumor resection (PTR) in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer with synchronous peritoneal metastasis (mCRC-SPM).
Methods: Patients were enrolled prospectively in the JSCCR project "Grading of Peritoneal Seeding in Colorectal Cancer." Factors that may influence overall survival-age, sex, location of the primary tumor, lymph node metastasis, presence of liver metastasis, degree of peritoneal metastasis, peritoneal cancer index (PCI), cancer cure, and postoperative chemotherapy-in the PTR group were examined using multivariate analysis.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of bisphenol A-glycidyl methacrylate (bis-GMA) without UV light polymerization for the repair of refractory iatrogenic cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks with large skull base defects.
Background: CSF leakage remains a common complication after neurosurgical interventions with a substantial resultant impact on morbidity and increased healthcare costs. The management of refractory CSF leaks with large skull base defects remains challenging.
