Introduction And Importance: Tumor calcinosis is a rare and benign disorder characterized by calcified periarticular soft tissue masses. It may be idiopathic or caused by a condition known as hyperphosphatemia. There is still no definitive guideline for treating this disease, with excision being one of the primary treatment modalities.

Bundled payments for total joint arthroplasty (TJA) were instituted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to reimburse providers a lump sum for operative and 90-day postoperative costs. Gaining a better understanding of which TJA patients are at risk for early return to the operating room (OR) is critical in preoperative optimization of those with modifiable risks, which could improve bundled-payment performance. : We sought to identify the most common reason for readmissions, as well as patient characteristics and costs, associated with early return to the OR among TJA patients.

Key Clinical Message: Although ligating femoral pseudoaneurysm is a safe procedure, some cases require revascularization, and the appropriate treatment should be tailored to the patient.
Abstract: In this case report, we highlight the challenge in treating infected femoral artery pseudoaneurysm. The patient, a 37-year-old male intravenous drug abuser, presented to the emergency department with a 2-month history of a progressively growing lump over his right groin.

Background: Ectopic calcification is inappropriate biomineralization of soft tissues occurring due to genetic or acquired causes of hyperphosphataemia and rarely in normophosphataemic individuals. Tumoral Calcinosis (TC) is a rare metabolic bone disorder commonly presenting in childhood and adolescence with periarticular extra-capsular calcinosis. Three subtypes of TC have been recognised: primary hyperphosphataemic familial TC (HFTC), primary normophosphataemic familial TC and secondary TC most commonly seen in chronic renal failure.
