The pigment known as melanin, produced by melanocytes, imparts skin color. The Cosmetic Europe survey testifies that most people believe that cosmetics enhance one's quality of life.

Background: Delayed prescription is a strategy used in various countries to reduce antibiotic overuse and contend the effects of antibiotic resistance; however this practice is not yet used in Switzerland. The present qualitative study was thus conducted to investigate Swiss patients' attitudes towards the possible implementation of delayed prescription.
Method: Five focus groups with the general population based on a fixed script of questions to elicit opinions on delayed prescription.

Adolescence is a developmental period of relative volatility, where the individual experiences significant changes to their physical and social environment. The ability to adapt to the volatility of one's surroundings is an important cognitive ability, particularly while foraging, a near-ubiquitous behaviour across the animal kingdom. As adolescents experience more volatility in their surroundings, we predicted that this age group would be more adept than adults at using exploration to adjust to volatility.

Background: In Malawi, compared to adults, adolescents have higher rates of high HIV viremia and poorer antiretroviral therapy (ART) outcomes. The Ministry of Health, supported by the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), implemented the provision of differentiated care clubs for adolescents living with HIV (ALHIV), called "teen clubs," to provide psychosocial support and an HIV care package to improve clinical outcomes. We evaluated teen club attendance and factors associated with unsuppressed viral load (VL) in ALHIV enrolled in these teen clubs.
