We present tailor-made imprinted nanostructures for light management in liquid phase crystallized silicon thin-film solar cells providing both, increased jsc by enhanced absorption and excellent electronic material-quality with Voc-values >640mV. All superstrate textures successfully enhance light in-coupling in 10-20µm thick liquid phase crystallized silicon thin-films. Moreover, the effect of combining imprinted textures at the front side with individually optimized light trapping schemes at the rear side of the absorber layers on the optical properties is analyzed. With a silicon absorber layer thickness of 17µm maximum achievable short-circuit current density of 37.0mA/cm is obtained, an increase by + 1.8mA/cm (or 5.1%) compared to the optimized planar reference.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to establish an ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method for the detection of osimertinib in rat plasma, lung and brain tissues.

Methods: Forty-eight rats were randomly divided into an experimental group (receiving osimertinib at doses of 5, 8, and 10 mg/kg) and a control group. After continuous intragastric administration for 15 days, samples of blood, lung, and brain tissue were collected.

Rationale: LGD-4033, a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM), is recognized for promoting muscle growth and enhancing athletic performance. Its potent anabolic effects have led to its prohibition in both human and animal sports. Although initial in vitro studies have offered insights into its metabolism, an in-depth in vivo analysis is necessary to fully understand its metabolic pathways.

In this article we describe research on the synthesis and characterization of a family of "Janus" amphiphiles composed of disaccharide head groups and alkaloid units joined together via a methylene linker, and bearing a lateral aliphatic chain of varying length. The condensed phases formed by self-organization of the products as a function of temperature were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry, thermal polarized light microscopy, and small angle X-ray scattering, allied with computational modelling and simulations. Structural studies on heating specimens from the solid showed that some homologues exhibited lamellar, columnar and bicontinuous mesophases, whereas the same homologues revealed different phase sequences on cooling from the amorphous liquid.

This study unveils a novel property of polyaniline by establishing its catalytic activity in heterogeneous hydrogenation with molecular hydrogen. Polyaniline was activated by heat-treating at different temperatures in a hydrogen atmosphere. The sample treated at 300 °C exhibited the highest catalytic activity for ethylene hydrogenation in the gas phase at atmospheric pressure and for p-nitrotoluene or α-methylstyrene hydrogenation in the liquid phase.
