A comprehensive study on the ternary dielectric, LaGdO₃, synthesized and qualified in our laboratory as a novel high-k dielectric material for logic and memory device applications in terms of its excellent features that include a high linear dielectric constant (k) of ~22 and a large energy bandgap of ~5.6 eV, resulting in sufficient electron and hole band offsets of ~2.57 eV and ~1.91 eV, respectively, on silicon, good thermal stability with Si and lower gate leakage current densities within the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors (ITRS) specified limits at the sub-nanometer electrical functional thickness level, which are desirable for advanced complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS), bipolar (Bi) and BiCMOS chips applications, is presented in this review article.

Unlabelled: The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program for breast cancer survivors (MBSR [BCs]) is a stress-reducing program designed to increase cognitive functioning through four meditational practices. This randomized clinical trial aimed to determine if improvements in cognitive functioning and perceived cognitive abilities achieved from the MBSR(BC) were mediated through increased mindfulness, decreased rumination, and decreased perceived stress. Breast cancer survivors (BCSs) who met inclusion criteria of stage I, II, or III BC and received either chemotherapy (CT) or both CT and radiation were randomized to either the 6-week MBSR(BC), or Breast Cancer Education Support (BCES) program, or to a usual care (UC) regimen.

Cellular differentiation and homeostasis rely on complex mechanisms to control gene expression, enabling the different cell lineages of an organism to establish and then "memorize" different epigenetic states. The processes that control gene expression are centered on chromatin, a complex of DNA, histone proteins and RNA, whose structure is finely regulated. Targeted epigenomic engineering tools make it possible to interfere with and study these processes, revealing the logic of epigenetic memory mechanisms.

This study utilizes solution-processed zinc-tin oxide (ZTO) thin-film phototransistors and modulates the values of , which allows for the regulation of electron trapping/detrapping at the ZTO/SiO interface. By coupling the excited photonic carrier and electronic trapping, logic gates such as "AND," "OR," "NAND," and "NOR" can be achieved.

Given the urgent challenges posed by global climate change and the ongoing energy crisis, fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) have emerged as a promising solution. Incorporating sophisticated energy management strategies (EMSs) into FCEVs can significantly enhance the efficiency of the complex powertrain under diverse driving conditions. In this paper, a dual-model predictive control energy management strategy based on long short-term memory (LSTM)-based driving condition recognition is proposed to enhance the economic performance of FCEVs and robustness across diverse driving conditions.

Achieving high retention of memory state is crucial in artificial synapse devices for neuromorphic computing systems. Of various memorizing methods, a charge-trapping method provides fast response times when it comes to the smallest size of electrons. Here, for the first time, it is demonstrated that trivalent molecular bridges with three ionic bond sites in the polymeric films can efficiently trap electrons in the organic synaptic transistors (OSTRs).
