Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory condition that is polygenic and multisystemic, impacting approximately 2-3% of the global population. The onset of this disease is influenced by an intricate interplay of genetic and environmental factors, predisposing individuals to the psoriasis phenotype. The complex pathogenesis of psoriasis contains certain key aspects found in other autoinflammatory and autoimmune dermatological diseases.

Patients And Methods: The clinical characteristic data, including age, age of onset, disease duration, gender, clinical stage, clinical type, family history, and comorbid immune-related diseases, of 1472 patients with/without KP were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 software.

Vitiligo is considered as depigmenting skin disorder where patches of skin losing their pigment. Lipocalin-2 (LCN2) is one of the Inflammatory adipokines that has a potential role in skin disorders and other inflammatory diseases as well. To measure the concentration level of LCN2 in vitiligo patients compared to healthy controls and to investigate its relation to disease activity and other clinical data to evaluate its role in the pathogenesis of the disease.
