Objective: To evaluate the 36-month clinical performance of Single Bond Universal Adhesive (SBU; 3M ESPE, Germany) in non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs) using different modes of adhesion according to the FDI criteria. The primary outcome was the retention loss of the restorations, while the secondary outcomes included marginal staining, marginal adaptation, post-operative sensitivity and tooth vitality, recurrence of caries erosion and abfraction, and tooth integrity, all evaluated according to the FDI criteria.
Materials And Methods: In this study, the SBU Adhesive was applied to 246 NCCLs of 25 patients using different modes of adhesion: Self-etch (SE), selective-enamel-etching (SLE), and etch-and-rinse (ER).

Plastic aligners have transformed orthodontics, offering a discreet, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing alternative to traditional fixed appliances. While they have advantages over fixed appliances, they come with environmental and health concerns due to the use of nonbiodegradable plastics, such as the leaching of Bisphenol-A (BPA) and microplastics that can impact human health directly through ingestion. Studies have shown that plastic aligners release microplastics during use, raising concerns about their potential health effects and environmental pollution.

Fissure sealants commonly exhibit weak mechanical and physical properties, potentially compromising their effectiveness in preventing dental caries. Therefore, this laboratory study aimed to synthesize and characterize experimental pit and fissure sealants in comparison with a commercially available sealant. Three different formulations of experimental pit and fissure sealing materials were synthesized using a blend of bisphenol A-glycidyl methacrylate (Bis-GMA) and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) monomers.

Objective: The emergence of new resin composites (RCs) incorporating bioactive ingredients and/or used as bulk-fill materials aims to enhance restorative potential beyond just the mechanical properties. However, this innovation may affect their performance under clinically simulated conditions, such as erosive challenges (EC). This study evaluated the impact of different technologies on the hygroscopic properties of RCs.

Aim: The study aimed to detect and quantify bisphenol A (BPA) leaching in salivary samples of patients undergoing clear aligner therapy (CAT) using four different commercially available sheets.
Materials And Methodology: Four different commercially available clear aligners namely Monoflex®, Erkodur®, Leone®, and Duran® were delivered to 20 volunteers who were grouped into ( = 5) group A, group B, group C, and group D, respectively. Salivary samples were collected immediately before aligner insertion (day 0) and at day 1, day 5, and day 7 after aligner wear.
