Most alignment media for the residual dipolar coupling (RDC) based molecular structure determination of small organic compounds consist of rod-like polymers dissolved in organic solvents or of swollen cross-linked polymer gels. Thus far, the synthesis of polymer-based alignment media has been a challenging process, which is often followed by a time-consuming sample preparation. We herein propose the use of non-polymeric alignment media based on benzenetricarboxamides (BTAs), which self-assemble into rod-like supramolecules. Our newly found supramolecular lyotropic liquid crystals (LLCs) are studied in terms of their LLC properties and their suitability as alignment media in NMR spectroscopy. Scalable enantiodifferentiating properties are introduced through a sergeant-and-soldier principle by blending achiral with chiral substituted BTAs.

CMV has been implicated in atherosclerosis in healthy adults, and a role in PLWH is plausible. This review, in light of the Socio-Cultural Erosion Theory, addresses the alarming deterioration in mental health among Iranian youth. According to this theory, rapid socio-cultural changes, economic instability, and pervasive influences of digital media create a drift between traditional values and modern expectations that are detrimental to mental health. The major risk factors identified in order of significance were, in descending order, economic hardship, academic stress, cultural pressures, and digital exposure.

Knowledge distillation improves student model performance. However, using a larger teacher model does not necessarily result in better distillation gains due to significant architecture and output gaps with smaller student networks. To address this issue, we reconsider teacher outputs and find that categories with strong teacher confidence benefit distillation more, while those with weaker certainty contribute less.
