Objective: This retrospective, multicentre, observational study analysed patients who underwent endovascular repair for blunt traumatic aortic injury (BTAI) at four tertiary trauma referral centres over twenty years. It aimed to determine early and long term survival, to analyse aortic and device related complications, and to assess the re-intervention rate after endovascular repair for BTAI.
Methods: All patients treated from 1 January 2001 to 31 October 2021 were identified using local hospital registries and two national registries: the Swedish vascular registry (Swedvasc) and Swedish trauma registry (SweTrau).

Background: Several major risk factors for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as population aging, smoking rates, and air pollution levels are rapidly changing, causing inevitable changes in the population burden of COPD. We determined the excess direct costs of COPD and their trend from 2001 to 2020.
Methods: Using administrative health data from British Columbia, Canada, we created a retrospective matched cohort of physician-diagnosed COPD patients and non-COPD individuals.

Objectives: To determine the rates, severity and burden of knee injuries in professional male rugby union from the English Premiership.
Methods: Injury and exposure data were captured over 20 seasons using a prospective cohort design. Knee injury incidence, days' absence and burden were recorded for each injury type and by pitch surface type for match and training.

: We conducted a twenty-year bibliometric analysis of scientific literature, focusing on the trends of The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) use in health research. : We retrieved 3'467 documents published between 2002 and 2022, sourced from the Web of Science Core Collection database. We used the Bibliometrix and VoSviewer tools for descriptive analyses and data visualization.

Objective: The primary objective was to explore perinatal and neonatal outcomes amongst infants who received intrauterine transfusion (IUT) for the management of hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN). The secondary objective was to evaluate the role of key investigations in the fetus at risk of HDFN and assess the relationship with neonatal outcomes. We hypothesized that middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity (MCA-PSV) and corresponding multiples of the median (MoM) would be predictive of neonatal course.
