When engaged in dynamic or continuous movements, action initiation involves modifying an ongoing motor program rather than initiating it from rest. Event-related theta synchronization over sensorimotor areas is a neurophysiological marker for modifying motor programs. We used electroencephalography (EEG) to examine how task complexity and age affect event-related synchronization (ERS) in the theta band during a dynamic bimanual, visuomotor pinch force task.

Collocations typically refer to habitual word combinations, which not only occur in texts but also constitute an essential component of the mental lexicon. This study focuses on the mental lexicon of Chinese learners of English as a foreign language (EFL), investigating the representation of collocations and the influence of input frequency and L2 proficiency by employing a phrasal decision task. Background: Village health workers (VHWs), popularly known as community health workers (CHWs) in some contexts and settings, should effectively complement health care providers in primary health care (PHC) delivery in Zimbabwe. However, they continue to offer services that do not address current and emerging health issues.
Aim: This study aims to review the literature and develop a conceptual framework to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of VHWs in service delivery.

Introduction: Group Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), an evidence-based treatment of depression recommended by the WHO mhGAP Intervention Guide, was implemented through a task-shifting approach in Senegal, as a treatment for depressed people living with HIV (PLWH). Since a description of the resources used and the implementation costs incurred is necessary to inform policymakers better, this study aimed to estimate the costs associated with its implementation.
Methods: Intervention costs were analyzed using an "ingredients-based costing approach" from the provider's perspective.
