Proton-proton scalar coupling plays an important role in molecular structure elucidation. Many methods have been proposed for revealing scalar coupling networks involving chosen protons. However, determining all J values within a fully coupled network remains as a tedious process. Here, we propose a method termed as simultaneous multi-slice selective J-resolved spectroscopy (SMS-SEJRES) for simultaneously measuring J values out of all coupling networks in a sample within one experiment. In this work, gradient-encoded selective refocusing, PSYCHE decoupling and echo planar spectroscopic imaging (EPSI) detection module are adopted, resulting in different selective J-edited spectra extracted from different spatial positions. The proposed pulse sequence can facilitate the analysis of molecular structures. Therefore, it will interest scientists who would like to efficiently address the structural analysis of molecules.

The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) is a widely used self-report measure of subjective well-being, but studies of its measurement invariance across a large number of nations remain limited. Here, we utilised the Body Image in Nature (BINS) dataset-with data collected between 2020 and 2022 -to assess measurement invariance of the SWLS across 65 nations, 40 languages, gender identities, and age groups (N = 56,968). All participants completed the SWLS under largely uniform conditions.

Antiferromagnets with broken time-reversal ( ) symmetry ( -odd antiferromagnets) have gained extensive attention, mainly due to their ferromagnet-like behavior despite the absence of net magnetization. However, certain types of -odd antiferromagnets remain inaccessible by the typical ferromagnet-like phenomena (e.g.

Progress in neuroscience has provided unprecedented opportunities to advance our understanding of brain alterations and their correspondence to phenotypic profiles. With data collected from various imaging techniques, studies have integrated different types of information ranging from brain structure, function, or metabolism. More recently, an emerging way to categorize imaging traits is through a metric hierarchy, including localized node-level measurements and interactive network-level metrics.

Transmission matrix measurements of multimode fibers are now routinely performed in numerous laboratories, enabling control of the electric field at the distal end of the fiber and paving the way for the potential application to ultrathin medical endoscopes with high resolution. The same concepts are applicable to other areas, such as space division multiplexing, targeted power delivery, fiber laser performance, and the general study of the mode coupling properties of the fiber. However, the process of building an experimental setup and developing the supporting code to measure the fiber's transmission matrix remains challenging and time consuming, with full details on experimental design, data collection, and supporting algorithms spread over multiple papers or lacking in detail.

The conformational space of 3-chloropropionic acid has been studied under the isolated conditions of a supersonic expansion using Stark-modulated free-jet absorption millimeter-wave and centimeter-wave chirped-pulse Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy techniques. The rotational spectra originating from the three most stable conformers including Cl and Cl isotopologues were observed in both experiments using helium expansion while a partial conformational relaxation involving skeletal rearrangements takes place in an argon expansion. The rotational parameters, geometries, and energy order were determined from the experiment, allowing a comparison with quantum chemical predictions.
