is a bacterium associated with other microorganisms on Medik. roots. It converts 6-hydroxybenzoxazolin-2(3)-one (BOA-6-OH), a hydroxylated derivative of the allelochemical benzoxazolin-2(3)-one, into 6-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzo[]oxazol-2(3)-one. The compound was identified by NMR and mass spectrometric methods. synthesis succeeded with protein, with isolated proteins from the root surface or with horseradish peroxidase in the presence of nitrite and HO. Nitro-BOA-6-OH is completely degraded further by and root surface proteins. Under laboratory conditions, 6-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzo[]oxazol-2(3)-one inhibits seedling growth whereas is much less affected. Although biodegradable, an agricultural use of 6-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzo[]oxazol-2(3)-one is undesirable because of the high toxicity of nitro aromatic compounds to mammals.

Clinical Relevance: Horizontal rectus muscle surgeries may cause changes in corneal and anterior segment parameters. Corneal topography is an important device for identifying these alterations.
Background: The aim of this work is to evaluate the effects of horizontal rectus muscle surgeries on corneal topography, anterior chamber parameters and corneal wavefront aberrations.

Wetland macrophytes play a critical role in the performance of treatment wetlands (TWs), primarily through nutrient uptake. However, this retention is temporary, as nutrients are released back into the water upon the decomposition of plant litter. The removal of stored nutrients from TWs can be efficiently achieved by harvesting plants during the peak of the growing season, albeit with significant ecological disturbance.

Background: This study aims to compare design, phase transformation behavior, and torsional resistance of the ProGlider (PG) and ProTaper ultimate slider (PUS) and to compare the performance of two files in the glide-path preparation of a double-curved artificial canal.
Methods: Scanning electron microscopy, micro-computed tomography, and differential scanning calorimetry were used to characterize the samples. A torsional resistance test was performed to obtain ultimate strength and distortion angle.

The effects of heat-assisted vat photopolymerization (HVPP) on the physical and mechanical properties of 3D-printed dental resins, including the morphometric stability of 3D-printed crowns, were investigated. A resin tank was designed to maintain the resin at 30, 40, and 50 ℃ during the 3D printing process. Test specimens were fabricated using a commercial dental resin, with untreated resin serving as the control group.

Importance: Limb spasticity is a common issue among stroke patients. Transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) is recommended as an alternative therapy for managing upper limb spasticity after stroke; however, its potential effects and feasibility remain uncertain.
Objective: To investigate the potential effects and feasibility of TEAS on motor function in patients with upper limb spasticity after stroke.
