We demonstrate a single-detector velocity map imaging setup which is capable of rapidly switching between coincidence and non-coincidence measurements. By rapidly switching the extraction voltages on the electrostatic lenses, both electrons and ions can be collected in coincidence with a single detector. Using a fast camera as the 2D detector avoids the saturation problem associated with traditional delay line detectors and allows for easy transitions between coincidence and non-coincidence data collection modes. This is a major advantage in setting up a low-cost and versatile coincidence apparatus. We present both coincidence and non-coincidence measurements of strong field atomic and molecular ionization.

Purpose: To evaluate the reliability of Mendonça strabismus forceps in locating the extraocular rectus muscles in patients undergoing primary strabismus surgery or reoperation. The study also compared the method's efficacy in primary surgeries versus reoperations. The overall goal was to avoid unnecessary surgical exploration, thereby enabling more effective planning and safer surgery.

Shadows, as all other objects that surround us, are incorporated into the body and extend the body mediating perceptual information. The current study investigates the hypothesis according to which the perception of object shadows would predict the perception of body shadows. 38 participants (19 males and 19 females) aged 23 years on average were immersed into a virtual reality environment and instructed to perceive and indicate the coincidence or non coincidence between the movement of a ball shadow with regard to ball movement on the one hand, and between their body shadow and their body position in space on the other.

This study describes and compares tuberculosis (TB) data among persons deprived of liberty and the general Brazilian population, from 2007 to 2019, using the Joinpoint tool to observe changes in trends. This study focuses on women and older adults, for HIV testing, and on the number of detainees according to prison capacity. This is a retrospective, quantitative, and analytical study, which uses methods of regression of time series data from secondary data of unrestricted access collected from the Brazilian Information System for Notifiable Diseases (SINAN), Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), and from analytical reports made available by the Brazilian National Penitentiary Department (DEPEN).

Objective: In order to understand the distribution of the essential nutrients content in commercial infant formula in China, and to compare its conformity with the new national standard(GB 10765-2021).
Methods: A total of 477 infant fomulas with production data from January 2017 to June 2022 were collected in China. Information in the product labels was recorded and the distribution of nutrient contents was analyzed, compare with the national food safety standard.

Characterization of the secondary structures of two model polypeptides, poly-l-lysine and poly-l-glutamic acid in aqueous solutions has been demonstrated by hyper-Raman (HR) spectroscopy for the first time. Complementary to infrared (IR) and visible Raman spectroscopy, HR spectroscopy gives the amide I, II, and III bands originating from the polypeptide backbones and the CCH symmetric bending mode, enabling us to distinguish different conformations. The α-helix gives the broad and weak amide III band, while the β-sheet and the random coil show similar spectral patterns with different relative intensities between the amide I and II bands.
