Due to their superior physicochemical features, chitosan thermosensitive hydrogels are multipurpose platforms that are frequently used in the biomedical industry. Many investigations have been conducted recently to modify their pore dimensions, expansion, biodegradability, stimulus-reaction characteristics, and other characteristics in order to better tailor them to the complex craniofacial tissues. They have been the focus of various studies that have attempted to load biological cargos for therapeutic and regenerative uses in the oro-facial tissues.

Heat stress (HS) induced by global warming is a real welfare, productivity, and economic burden of cattle production. However, some cattle breeds have superior physiological adaptive traits to others, yet the underlying molecular mechanisms are not fully defined. The present study aimed, therefore, to determine the expression profile of stress-related molecular signatures in the blood of thermosensitive Angus () and thermotolerant Brahman () cattle breeds managed without (CON) or with growth-promoting technology (TRT) during the summer (April-October, 2023) season in Colorado, US.

Near-Infrared Light-Activated DNA Nanodevice for Spatiotemporal In Vivo Fluorescence Imaging of Messenger RNA.

Real-time visualization of messenger RNA (mRNA) is essential for tumor classification, grading, and staging. However, the low signal-to-background ratios and nonspatiotemporal specific signal amplification restricted the in vivo imaging of mRNA. In this study, a near-infrared (NIR) light-activated DNA nanodevice (DND) was developed for spatiotemporal in vivo fluorescence imaging of mRNA.

Photoperiod- and thermo-sensitive genic male sterile (P/TGMS) lines display male sterility under high-temperature/long-day light conditions and male fertility under low-temperature/short-day light conditions. P/TGMS lines are the fundamental basis for the two-line hybrid breeding, which has notably increased the yield potential and grain quality of rice cultivars. In this review, we focus on the research progress on photoperiod- and thermo-sensitive genic male sterility in plants.

Background: Thermosensitive male sterility (TMS) is a heritable agronomic trait influenced by the interaction between genotype and environment. The anthers of plants are composed of various specialized cells, each of which plays different roles in plant reproduction. In rapeseed (Brassica napus L.
