Perianal fistulas (PAFs) are a severe complication of Crohn's disease that significantly impact patient prognosis and quality of life. While stem-cell-based strategies have been widely applied for PAF treatment, their efficacy remains limited. Our study introduces an injectable, temperature-controlled decellularized adipose tissue-alginate hydrogel loaded with dental pulp mesenchymal stem cells (DPMSCs) for in vivo fistula treatment.

Aim: To perform a systematic review to investigate if the use of audio distraction reduces signs of stress and anxiety in paediatric patients undergoing dental treatment.
Materials And Methods: Search was made in electronic databases (MEDLINE, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, Scielo, BVS, Springer Link, Science Direct, Cochrane Library, and grey literature) until March 11th, 2024. The eligibility criteria were: paediatric patients under dental treatment; use of audio as a distraction method; comparison between groups with and without use of audio distraction; Clinical trials.

Objectives: Considering the importance of patient-centered care, we aimed to evaluate the impact of systemic antibiotics on oral health-related quality of life during nonsurgical periodontal treatment. This controlled trial addresses a gap in understanding how systemic antibiotics influence patient-reported outcomes, focusing on Stage III periodontitis.
Materials And Methods: Sixty-one adults participated in a double-blind, randomized clinical trial, with participants divided into two groups: the test group, which received antibiotics, and the control group.
