Beyond the metabolic functions, the liver recently has been defined as an organ of immune system (IS), which have central regulatory role for innate and adaptive immunity. The liver keeps a delicate balance between hepatic screening of pathogenic antigens and immune tolerance to self-antigens. Herbal treatments with immunological effects have potential to alter this hepatic immune balance towards either therapeutic side or diseases side by inducing liver injury hepatotoxicity or initiation of autoimmune diseases. Most commonly known herbal treatments, which have therapeutic effect on liver and IS, have proven , , and/or clinical studies were summarized in this review.

Subclavian steal syndrome (SSS) often goes undiagnosed because of its variable and subtle symptoms, highlighting the need for innovative diagnostic approaches. This case report explores the integration of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in both diagnosing and managing SSS, marking a pioneering contribution to the field. An 80-year-old woman with persistent dizziness, unresponsive to conventional treatments, underwent TCM pulse diagnosis, which revealed significant inter-arm pulse discrepancies.

Background: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly aggressive subtype of breast cancer, characterized by frequent recurrence, metastasis, and poor survival outcomes despite chemotherapy-based treatments. This study aims to investigate the mechanisms by which Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) modulates the tumor immune microenvironment in TNBC, utilizing CiteSpace and bioinformatics analysis.
Methods: We employed CiteSpace to analyze treatment hotspots and key TCM formulations, followed by bioinformatics analysis to identify the main active components, targets, associated pathways, and their clinical implications in TNBC treatment.

Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease in which macrophages produce cytokines that enhance inflammation and contribute to the destruction of cartilage and bone. Additive Sishen decoction (ASSD) is a widely used traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of RA; however, its active ingredients and the mechanism of its therapeutic effects remain unclear.
Methods: To predict the ingredients and key targets of ASSD, we constructed "drug-ingredient-target-disease" and protein-protein interaction networks.
