Purpose: To assess the technical quality and clinical outcomes of non-surgical endodontic treatment of immature permanent incisor teeth with three different bioceramic plug materials and highlight variables which may influence treatment and quality outcomes.
Methods: This cross-sectional analysis forms part of a retrospective service evaluation of the technical quality and clinical outcome of orthograde root canal treatment carried out in the Paediatric Dentistry Department of Charles Clifford Dental Hospital (United Kingdom). Twenty-five cases were identified chronologically, using the electronic patient record system, for three bioceramic plug materials: Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA), Biodentine, and TotalFill Putty.

Scapular shape variation among primates is widely viewed as being strongly related to locomotor differences. The relative importance of overhead forelimb elevation in the locomotor repertoire of a species, as reflected in muscular leverage for scapular rotation or in the sizes of attachment areas for muscles involved in glenohumeral elevation, has proven to be a useful organizing principle for understanding this variation. While generally successful in sorting primate scapulae into functional groups, the scapulae of some species do not entirely match predictions based on the perceived importance of forelimb elevation.

In hominoids, the broad thorax has been assumed to contribute to their dorsal scapular position. However, the dorsoventral diameter of their cranial thorax was found in one study to be longer in hominoids. There are insufficient data on thoracic shape to explain the relationship between broad thorax and dorsal scapular position.

Chimpanzees are our closest living relatives and their positional repertoire likely includes elements shared with our common ancestor. Currently, limitations exist in our ability to correlate locomotor anatomy with behavioral function in the wild. Here we provide a detailed description of developmental changes in chimpanzee locomotion and posture.

Introduction: The mandibular first molar is the most frequently endodontically treated tooth and is extremely anatomically challenging. The purpose of this micro-computed tomographic evaluation was to quantitatively investigate the morphology of the mandibular first molar to improve both orthograde and retrograde treatment.
Methods: Twenty-two mandibular first molars were scanned, reconstructed, and subjected to various linear measurements.
