Adolescence remains a crucial age associated with diabetes distress in individuals living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The Austrian organization "Diabär" regularly hosts a one-week adventure camp for adolescents (12-18 years) living with T1D. The camp focuses on "fun activities" without a structured educational protocol in order to minimize diabetes distress and increase diabetes management skills.

This research aims to expand the established pharmacological space of tumor-associated carbonic anhydrases (TACAs) by exploring the synthetically accessible chemical space of 3-substituted coumarins, with the help of pharmacology prediction. 52 novel 3-substituted coumarins were sketched, prioritizing synthetic feasibility. Their pharmacological potentials were estimated using a custom machine-learning approach.

Background: Exercise offers substantial health benefits but can induce oxidative stress and inflammation, especially in high-intensity formats such as high-intensity interval exercise (HIIE). Exergaming has become an effective, enjoyable fitness tool for all ages, particularly older adults. Enzyme supplements may enhance exercise performance by improving lactate metabolism and reducing oxidative stress.

Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, Lapeyronie University Hospital, 34295 Montpellier Cedex 5, France; Inserm Unit 1298 Montpellier NeuroSciences Institute, Montpellier University, 34295 Montpellier Cedex 5, France.

Background: Reporting and analysis of adverse events (AE) is associated with improved health system learning, quality outcomes, and patient safety. Manual text analysis is time-consuming, costly, and prone to human errors. We aimed to demonstrate the feasibility of novel machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) approaches for early predictions of adverse events and provide input to direct quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
