With advancements in medical devices and imaging techniques, endovascular treatment using stent grafts has emerged as a viable and aggressive therapeutic option for traumatic subclavian artery injuries, including iatrogenic cases. Existing literature suggests that endovascular treatment is less invasive and offers hemostatic success rates comparable to traditional surgical methods. However, there is a paucity of case reports, necessitating further investigation into treatment indications and procedural challenges.

Accessory ribs are rare anatomical variations, typically cervical or lumbar, with intrathoracic accessory ribs being particularly uncommon. These anomalies are often asymptomatic but can cause issues like thoracic outlet syndrome. This case report describes a 36-year-old woman who was incidentally found to have an intrathoracic accessory rib on a chest X-ray.

Septic shock is a significant challenge in the management of patients with burns and traumatic injuries when complicated by infection, necessitating prompt and effective haemodynamic support. This review provides a comprehensive overview of current strategies for vasopressor and fluid management in septic shock, with the aim to optimize patient outcomes. With regard to vasopressor management, we elaborate on the pharmacologic profiles and clinical applications of catecholamines, vasopressin derivatives, angiotensin II, and other vasoactive agents.
