Background: Diastasis recti abdominis (DRA), commonly occurring in postpartum women, is not only an aesthetic issue but is also highly associated with functional impairments. Various conservative treatment modalities have been employed in clinical practice to alleviate DRA. However, the comparative efficacy of these non-surgical treatments for improving the inter-recti distance (IRD) remains to be determined.

Anaplasma species are obligate rickettsial intraerythrocytic pathogens that cause an important tick-borne disease of economic importance in livestock production in many countries. Anaplasma species have been detected from farm animals worldwide, there is a paucity of information on Anaplasma infections in goats from Malaysia. Thus, this study aimed to assess the infection rate and identify Anaplasma species and some selected risk factors in goats across selected districts in Kelantan, Malaysia.

Background: Pancreatic trauma is a rare solid organ injury. Conservative treatment is often indicated in patients with no pancreatic duct injury, while patients with high-grade pancreatic damage most often require surgical intervention. Laparoscopic central pancreatectomy (LCP) is a parenchyma-sparing approach and can prevent endocrine and exocrine insufficiency after pancreatic resection.

All three phases of kidney development utilize epithelized tubules called nephrons, which function to take in filtrate from the blood or coelom and selectively reabsorb solutes the organism needs, leaving waste products to be excreted as urine. The pronephros are heavily studied in aquatic organisms such as zebrafish and Xenopus, as they develop quickly and are functional.

Despite the importance of the Hippo pathway, the in vivo functions of TEAD in mammals have not been well established. By comparing mouse mutants lacking TEAD1 and TEAD2 (TEAD1/2) to those lacking YAP/TAZ, we found that TEAD1/2 have both YAP/TAZ-dependent and -independent functions during ventral telencephalon development.
