Anxiety disorders in children lead to substantial impairment in functioning and development. Even the most effective gold standard treatments for childhood anxiety have 50% remission rates, suggesting a critical need to improve current treatments. Optimising exposure, the key component of anxiety treatments, represents a promising way to do so.

Recently, spatial multiomics has advanced considerably, which could contribute to clarifying many biological issues. Spatial monoomics techniques in epigenomics, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics can enhance our understanding of biological functions and cellular identities by simultaneously measuring tissue structures and biomolecule levels.

Objective: To understand patient, caregiver, and clinician perspectives on patient-reported outcome measures, critical functional domains, and disease-modifying therapies in adult spinal muscular atrophy.
Design: An exploratory qualitative single-site study.
Patients: Ten adults with spinal muscular atrophy and two clinicians participated in semi-structured interviews.

Clinicians may face an array of challenges in conducting fetal neurological consultations including prognostic uncertainty, a lack of training in fetal counseling, and limited opportunity to build rapport with families. In this setting, it is critical to employ high-quality, family-centered care to allow expectant parents to make informed decisions. Despite the challenges and gravity of these consultations, there remains limited data outlining best conduct and communication practices.
