Aspiration biopsy cytology by fine needle is becoming a popular diagnostic procedure for soft-tissue lesions; it also can be used successfully to diagnose some lesions from bone. The value of this procedure for making the initial diagnosis is illustrated by a case in which a malignant fibrous histiocytoma from a skull bone afflicted with Paget's disease was aspirated and interpreted as a sarcoma. This was later confirmed and subclassified by histology and electron microscopy from the tissue.

Pemetrexed is a chemotherapeutic, antimetabolite agent that has been used in oncology to treat diseases such as metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and unresectable malignant pleural mesothelioma. Pemetrexed use may result in pseudocellulitis, which presents as poorly demarcated patches or plaques with erythema, edema, warmth, and tenderness. These lesions can present unilaterally or bilaterally on the lower extremities.

Purpose: We sought to evaluate the incidence, natural history, and management of cystic spinal lesions following myelomeningocele/myeloschisis closure.
Methods: We performed a single-center retrospective review of all patients who underwent myelomeningocele/myeloschisis closure from 2013 to 2018 with follow-up to 5 years old.
Results: We analyzed 100 fetal repairs and 81 postnatal closures from 305 total surgeries.
Introduction: Solitary fibrous bladder tumors are extremely uncommon, with only a few cases reported. These fibroblastic mesenchymal neoplasms are typically benign, indolent, and slow growing.
Case Presentation: A 44-year-old male patient with obstructive uropathy was referred to our unit for workup.

Background: Benign bone lesions are a common incidental finding in athletes during workup for musculoskeletal complaints, and athletes are frequently advised to halt participation in contact sports. There are no current guidelines to assist clinicians in referring patients with these lesions to a subspecialist or in advising athletes on the safety of returning to sport.
Purpose: To assist sports medicine physicians in appropriate referral for patients with benign bone lesions through presentation of a literature review and the case of an adolescent athlete with a benign bone lesion in a location with a significant fracture risk.
