Since 2018, DonateLife South Australia and the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) have collaborated to deliver routine family follow-up after bereavement in the intensive care unit (ICU). This follow-up includes a telephone interview that invites bereaved family members to comment on the quality of care and communication experienced in the ICU. To identify bereaved families' experiences, including how they conceptualise good care and communication in intensive care, an analysis was conducted on all qualitative data collected during 118 interviews completed between 1 February 2018 and 30 May 2019.

Patient and public involvement is increasingly advocated in health policy, research and practice. Patients and people with lived experience, carers and the general public should have a say in how policy is generated, how services are delivered and how research is conducted. Through this perspective article, we hope to stimulate discussion and debate around industry influence in patient and public involvement, specifically pertaining to patient organizations, which often play a key role in patient and public involvement activities.

For an individual, a sustainable career is a sequence of events in one's professional life that both brings professional satisfaction to the career actor, but also allows them to stay healthy, fit, satisfied with their non-work life, feel stable and secure, and free to decide their professional future. It is challenging to pursue a career as a performing artist in such a way that the artist can say of their career that it is sustainable. Indeed, research shows that artists struggle with job instability, being paid below expectations, high competition for lucrative career opportunities and the loss of psycho-physical fitness, which is important in the profession.

Health systems require instruments that allow the generation of real, concrete, specific and objective information that can be named, classified, shared and compared internationally. Nowadays, this premise is possible, thanks to the specific and particular characteristics of information technologies needs in health, the speed in the generation of knowledge, the technological changes in telecommunications and its current development. However, there are areas of opportunity in information systems that make difficult this paradigm.
