Lucigenin (Bis-N-methylacrylium nitrate) reacts with H2O2 to produce ground state and excited state monomer. The excited state monomer decays with the emission of light. When lucigenin is added to reaction mixtures containing vitamin-K-dependent carboxylase, light emission is produced which is inversely proportional to enzyme concentration and co-inhibited with inhibitors of vitamin-K-dependent carboxylase.

By integrating the C2f_DCNv3 module, which incorporates Deformable Convolutions (DCN), replace the original C2f module, enabling the model to exhibit exceptional adaptability to intricate and irregular features, such as fine fissures and teeth marks. Various photoactive molecules contain motifs built on aza-aromatic heterocycles, although a detailed understanding of the excited state photophysics and photochemistry in such systems is not fully developed. To help address this issue, the non-adiabatic dynamics operating in azanaphthalenes under hexane solvation was studied following 267 nm excitation using ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy. Specifically, the species quinoline, isoquinoline, quinazoline, quinoxaline, 1,6-naphthyridine, and 1,8-naphthyridine were investigated, providing a systematic variation in the relative positioning of nitrogen heteroatom centres within a bicyclic aromatic structure.

Among expanding discoveries of quantum phases in moiré superlattices, correlated insulators stand out as both the most stable and most commonly observed. Despite the central importance of these states in moiré physics, little is known about their underlying nature. Here, we use pump-probe spectroscopy to show distinct time-domain signatures of correlated insulators at fillings of one (ν = -1) and two (ν = -2) holes per moiré unit cell in the angle-aligned WSe/WS system.
