The use of the immunolocalization technique combined with cytogenetic and epigenetic studies is an indispensable tool and has contributed significantly to the analysis of the structure and function of chromosomes, since it can provide information about the spatial or temporal distribution of a given protein in the nucleus and chromosomes. Several chromosome-associated proteins in plant cells have already been identified by immunolocalization, such as histone and non-histone proteins and cell division-related protein (mitosis and meiosis). The principle of the immunolocalization technique in plants basically involves fixation and permeabilization of cells, the use of monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies attached to a signaling molecule, usually a fluorochrome and detection of the target molecule by using an epifluorescence microscope.

Acephate and chlorantraniliprole are two insecticides widely used in agricultural applications. Several studies were focused on the mode of action and related biological and cellular level expressions. However, the sub-lethal dose and related molecular expression level of acephate and chlorantraniliprole have not been evaluated or studied to the same degree.

Accurate chromosome segregation during meiosis requires the maintenance of sister chromatid cohesion, initially established during premeiotic S phase. In human oocytes, DNA replication and cohesion establishment occur decades before chromosome segregation and deterioration of meiotic cohesion is one factor that leads to increased segregation errors as women age. Our previous work led us to propose that a cohesion rejuvenation program operates to establish new cohesive linkages during meiotic prophase in Drosophila oocytes and depends on the cohesin loader Nipped-B and the cohesion establishment factor Eco.

Introduction: Weill-Marchesani syndrome (WMS) is a hereditary connective tissue disorder with substantial heterogeneity in clinical features and genetic etiology, so it is essential to define the full mutation spectrum for earlier diagnosis. In this study, we report Weill-Marchesani-like syndrome (WMS-like) change to autosomal dominance inheritance caused by novel haplotypic mutations in latent transforming growth factor beta-binding protein 2 (LTBP2).
Methods: Twenty-five members from a 4-generation Chinese family were recruited from Guangzhou, of whom nine were diagnosed with WMS-like disease, nine were healthy, and seven were of "uncertain" clinical status because of their young age.

Background: The pathological damage mechanism of type 2 diabetes (T2D) and macroangiopathy is extremely complex, and T2D and arteriosclerosis obliterans have different biological behaviors and clinical features. To explore the mechanism of lower extremity arteriosclerosis occlusion (LEAOD) in T2D patients, we utilized RNA-seq to identify unique gene expression signatures of T2D and LEAOD through transcriptomic analysis.
Methods: We obtained blood samples and performed RNA sequencing from four patients with T2D, five of whom had LEAOD.

Unlabelled: Coral fluorescence phenotypes have been suggested as an adaptation to a broad range of environmental conditions, yet the mechanisms linking thermal bleaching tolerance in reef-building coral populations, associated with fluorescence phenotypes due to GFP-like proteins, remains unclear. In this study, the relationship between the thermal sensitivity and phenotypic plasticity of corals was investigated using two phenotypes of green and brown. The results reveal that brown was more susceptible to bleaching than green when exposed to a higher growth temperature of 32 °C.
