The conductivity increases as thickness decreases in a series of SbSeTe topological insulator nanosheets with thickness ranging from 80 to 200 nm, where the sheet conductance is proportional to the thickness. The corresponding sheet conductance of the surface state is 8.7 e/h which is consistent with the values extracted from the temperature dependent Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations at high magnetic fields. The extracted Fermi momentum is the same as the results from the ARPES value, and the Berry phase is π. These support that the thickness dependent sheet conductance originates from the combination of the surface state and the bulk state.

Both term and preterm infants are susceptible to pathological jaundice, a frequent condition that can cause long-lasting neurological damage. A novel treatment for indirect pathological hyperbilirubinemia is bilisphere phototherapy, which lowers total serum bilirubin just as well as exchange transfusions. A quasi-experimental research design was utilized in the current study.

Introduction: Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) is a potentially effective intervention to improve outcomes after a fragility fracture, but its feasibility in this group has not been established.
Methods: A feasibility study was conducted in two phases: 1) in the hospital only, and 2) hospital, rehabilitation centres, and participants' homes. Patients with fragility fracture were randomised to receive NMES for 6 weeks/discharge either to the right or left leg, with the other leg serving as control.

Background: Workers in home care have high sick leave rates, predominantly because of musculoskeletal pain. The Goldilocks Work Principle proposes that health should be promoted by a "just right" composition of work tasks. Weekly workloads differ substantially between home care workers, suggesting that certain workers may have workloads that are too high, impacting their musculoskeletal health.

Background: Rwanda has made remarkable progress in scaling up HIV testing, treatment, and healthcare services. Recent data show that 95% of people living with HIV (PLWH) were aware of their status, 97.5% of them are on antiretroviral therapy (ART), and 98% of those who are on treatment have achieved viral suppression.

Cellulose is attracting considerable attention in the field of flexible electronics due to its unique properties and environmental sustainability, particularly as a substrate for flexible devices. Flexible photodetectors are an integral part of cellulose-based devices and have become essential in optical communication, heart rate monitoring, and imaging systems. The performance and adaptability of these photodetectors depend significantly on the quality of the flexible substrates.
