Treatment of nondisplaced scaphoid waist fractures has evolved from conventional cast immobilization to percutaneous screw insertion. This study assessed clinical and radiologic outcomes of volar percutaneous screw fixation for 15 type B2 scaphoid fractures (according to the Herbert and Fisher classification). All patients were followed for an average of 33 months (range, 6-50 months). All fractures achieved radiographic union at an average of 57 days (range, 35-70 days), requiring no additional procedures. None of the patients showed radiographic signs of osteoarthritis, osteonecrosis of the scaphoid, or hardware-related complications. For scaphoid waist fractures without collapse, percutaneous screw fixation provided satisfactory results with a high rate of union, early return of function, and minimal complications. Objective: In the current study, to demonstrate the advantages of oblique lateral interbody fusion (OLIF), we focused on the therapeutics for lumbar spinal tuberculosis with the comparison of three treatments, including anterior approach, posterior approach, and OLIF combined with posterior percutaneous pedicle screw fixation.
Methods: This study included patients with lumbar spinal tuberculosis from July 2015 to June 2018. We divided these patients into three groups: 35 patients underwent an anterior-only approach (Group A), 36 patients underwent a posterior-only approach (Group B), and 31 patients underwent OLIF combined with posterior percutaneous pedicle screw fixation (Group C).

To measure the life quality, clinical-functional outcomes of a patient who had undergone acute reconstruction of radio scapho capitate (RSC), radio lunate (RLL) ligaments, using brachiorradialis tendon in treatment of radiocarpal fracture dislocation. 21-years-old, man with radiocarpal fracture dislocation in his left wrist, after motorcycle accident. Percutaneous screw fixation of the distal radius and acute reconstruction of the RSC and RLL was performed, assisted by arthroscopy.
