We present a case of diabetic ketoacidosis, known as one of the most serious metabolic complications of diabetes. We were confronted with rapid neurological deterioration and unseen glycaemic values, which reached almost 110 mmol/L, subsequently resulting in hyperkalaemia and life-threatening dysrhythmias. This is the first reported live case with such high values of blood glucose and a favourable outcome.

We describe the case of a girl in her middle childhood who presented with signs of heterosexual precocious puberty in the form of axillary and pubic hair growth, acne and clitoromegaly. Investigations showed elevated androgens and autonomous cortisol excess, suggesting an adrenal source. CT imaging confirmed a left adrenal mass and multiple colonic polyps.

In such cases, patients exposed to the virus may experience HBV-reactivation(HBVr), which is usually due to immunosuppression. Objective: This study compares ambulatory glycemic profile and glycemic variability between pregnant women diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) receiving pharmacotherapy and healthy pregnant women without diabetes and assesses their correlation with fetal outcome.
Method: This was a case-control study involving 60 pregnant women (40 with T2DM and 20 healthy controls) in the third trimester of pregnancy. A flash glucose monitor device was applied over the upper arm to obtain the ambulatory glucose profile.
