This article is the fifth in a series, Supporting Family Caregivers: No Longer Home Alone, published in collaboration with the AARP Public Policy Institute. Results of focus groups, conducted as part of the AARP Public Policy Institute's No Longer Home Alone video project, supported evidence that family caregivers aren't being given the information they need to manage the complex care regimens of their family members. This series of articles and accompanying videos aims to help nurses provide caregivers with the tools they need to manage their family member's medications. Each article explains the principles nurses should consider and reinforce with caregivers and is accompanied by a video for the caregiver to watch. The fifth video can be accessed at http://links.lww.com/AJN/A79.

Background: Language acquisition is a critical developmental milestone, with notable variability during the first 4 years of life. Developmental language disorder (DLD) often overlaps with other neurodevelopmental disorders or simple language delay (SLD), making early detection challenging, especially for primary caregivers.
Objective: We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Gades platform, an adaptive screening tool that enables preschool teachers to identify potential language disorders without direct support from nursery school language therapists (NSLTs).

Background: Caregivers of autistic children experience particularly poor levels of mental health and increased caregiving complexities. Proactive post-diagnostic family support is recommended but is inconsistently implemented, largely not evidence based, and does not directly address caregiver mental health. This study aimed to test the clinical effectiveness of the Empower-Autism programme plus treatment as usual versus the usual local post-diagnostic psychoeducation offer plus treatment as usual on caregiver mental health at the 52-week follow-up.

Purpose: To describe the rationale and components of Farm-based Therapy (FBT) as well as examine its preliminary efficacy.
Methods: FBT consists of five empirically supported components, or hands-on experience, sustainability, the life cycle, community, and mindfulness, that were developed in collaboration with clients, their caregivers, and clinicians. We explored the preliminary efficacy of FBT for improving anxiety and mood in new clients, and their parents, using the Revised Child Anxiety and Depression Scale (RCADS).

Advanced multimorbidity is the term used to describe when someone has multiple chronic conditions including those which are associated with palliative care needs. People living with advanced multimorbidity have to coordinate and undertake lots of different tasks related to their chronic conditions, and this can lead to them feeling overburdened, and disengagement from treatment regimes. In this study, we sought to explore how this "treatment burden" was experienced by people with advanced multimorbidity and their caregivers.
