Aims: Right ventricular (RV) failure (RVF) after left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implant is an important cause of morbidity and mortality. Modern, data-driven approaches for defining and predicting RVF have been under-utilized.
Methods: Two hundred thirty-two patients were identified with a mean age of 55 years; 40 (17%) were women, 132 were (59%) Caucasian and 74 (32%) were Black.

Naloxone can effectively rescue victims from opioid overdose, but less than 5% survive due to delayed or absent first responder intervention. Current overdose reversal systems face key limitations, including low user adherence, false positive detection, and slow antidote delivery. Here, we describe a subcutaneously implanted robotic first responder to overcome these challenges.

Understanding the mechanisms of hypoblast development and its role in the implantation is critical for improving farm animal reproduction, but it is hampered by the lack of research models. Here we report that a chemical cocktail (FGF4, BMP4, IL-6, XAV939, and A83-01) enables de novo derivation and long-term culture of bovine extraembryonic endoderm cells (bXENs). Transcriptomic and epigenomic analyses confirmed the identity of bXENs and revealed that they are resemble hypoblast lineages of early bovine peri-implantation embryos.

Complete arch oral implant treatment using photogrammetry was studied in 77 patients with 111 arches focusing on digitization of clinical records and optimization of the provisional. The aim of the study was to test the hypothesis that patient satisfaction with the provisional prosthesis during the first 4 months of care determined workflow efficiency and success. Digitization of 8 clinical records was done including centric relation, vertical dimension, esthetics, occlusion, inter-arch space, abutment selection, abutment capture, and soft tissue scan.
