The 'Checklist of Leisure, Interests and Participation': A contemporary leisure checklist.

Introduction: The Modified Interest Checklist (MIC) is a tool used by therapists to understand past and present occupational engagement, however, is now outdated and lacks contemporary occupations. The aim of this study was to develop an updated valid and reliable checklist tool inclusive of contemporary leisure activities for clinical practice.
Methods: The study consisted of four phases, including feedback in relation to the MIC, two phases of development of an updated tool, and occupational therapists' opinions on the tool.

Aim: This study explored the achievement of workplace capabilities synonymous with nursing practice. It investigated progressive development of workplace performance, against requisite standards of practice, of corresponding cohorts of student nurses during their final year placement and registered nurses during their graduate year, in south-eastern Queensland, Australia.

The ribosome utilizes hydrogen bonding between mRNA codons and aminoacyl-tRNAs to ensure rapid and accurate protein production. Chemical modification of mRNA nucleobases can adjust the strength and pattern of this hydrogen bonding to alter protein synthesis. We investigate how the N1-methylpseudouridine (mΨ) modification, commonly incorporated into therapeutic and vaccine mRNA sequences, influences the speed and fidelity of translation.

Here, we report that the number of modified cytosines that are required for cleavage can be tuned by the salt concentration. We present crystal structures of two members of the BisI family, NhoI and Eco15I_Ntd (N-terminal domain of Eco15I), in the absence of DNA and in specific complexes with tetra-methylated GCNGC target DNA.
