Background: In relapsing differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), the in vivo evaluation of natrium-iodine symporter (NIS) expression is pivotal in the therapeutic planning and is achieved by [131/123I]Iodine whole-body scan. However, these approaches have low sensitivity due to the low sensitivity due to the low resolution of SPECT. [18F]Tetrafluoroborate (TFB) has been proposed as a viable alternative, which could outperform [131/123I]Iodine scans owing to the superior PET resolution.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a deadly yet rare soft tissue and skin infection that is usually diagnosed clinically. At times, clinical signs may betray the underlying etiology and masquerade as cellulitis in the early course of the disease. We report four cases with clinical suspicion of necrotizing fasciitis, some after the failure of therapy for cellulitis who underwent 18-F fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (18-F FDG PET/CT) showing the extent of the disease, showing subclinical sites of involvement in patients with necrotizing fasciitis on baseline scan as well as its role in assessing response to treatment using 18-F FDG PET/CT.

Renal cell carcinoma accounts for 3% of all malignancies with many of them presenting with metastasis at the time of presentation. The abscopal effect, a phenomenon characterized by systemic bystander effects on nontargeted lesions due to local therapy, has been extensively studied in the context of radiotherapy and immunotherapy. However, documentation of the abscopal effect following surgery remains limited.

18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) parameters have shown a significant prognostic role in relapsed/refractory large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) patients undergoing CD19-targeted chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. While a substantial body of evidence exists on the prognostic value of PET/CT parameters in peri-CAR T setting, data available on the prognostic value of PET/CT parameters following CAR T-cell therapy failure is lacking. Therefore, we sought to analyze the PET/CT scans of LBCL patients who experienced post-CAR T relapsed/progressive disease and subsequently received salvage therapies.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of F-fibroblast activation protein inhibitor-04 (F-FAPI-04) PET/CT for various malignant tumors and compare it head-to-head with F-FDG PET/CT.
Materials And Methods: This single-center, prospective study continuously recruited patients with suspected or confirmed malignant tumors for concurrent 18F-FDG and 18F-FAPI-04 PET/CT scans from April 2022 to October 2023. The pathological diagnosis or clinical follow-up served as the reference standard.
