Background: Telehealth programs exhibit strong potential to improve health measures and quality of life among obese and overweight individuals for whom medical nutritional therapy remains a challenge due to poor adherence and dietary compliance. Supporting weight-management programs with dietary interventions or "telenutrition" and integrating telemonitoring and/or telehealth coaching have had a significant positive impact on weight-loss patients achieving their goals in long-term interventions.
Methods: The aim of the current study was to identify the factors leading patients to drop out of a telenutrition weight-loss program, including weekly telemonitoring (total of 36 weeks) and monthly telehealth coaching (total of 6 months).

Facing resource shortages and increasing gaps between regions and populations during the 20th century, around the 70s, the Chinese government authorized local governments to independently operate their own medical system, including medical education, to provide basic medical services and meet healthcare needs. These multiple independent but unparallel medical education systems throughout the nation inevitably created education quality disparities. Around the beginning of the 21st century, the Chinese government started a medical education standardization reform.

Objectives: For individuals living with rare neurodevelopmental disorders, especially those who are at the most severe end of the spectrum, standardized outcome measures may lack the sensitivity to capture small but meaningful changes. Personalized endpoints such as Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) allow the assessment of treatment response across variable baseline states and disease manifestations and thus provide a highly sensitive measure of efficacy. The current study tested the feasibility of using GAS in rare SCN2A-associated developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (SCN2A-DEE).

These biomarkers need continuous non-invasive monitoring, which is difficult with blood. We studied the AWARE sweat-sensor to measure these in passively expressed sweat in healthy people (N = 12) and cirrhosis (N = 32, 10 outpatients/22 inpatients) for 3 days.
