Acquired pulmonary vein stenosis is a rare cardiac defect and diagnosis can often be challenging, as many cases present with refractory or prolonged oxygen requirement over the expected course. Comorbid conditions can cloud this diagnosis further. Prognosis is poor for most patients. We present a case of idiopathic acquired pulmonary vein stenosis and discuss diagnostics, treatment options, and the need for further collaborative studies.

We report a first case of ceftazidime-resistant pediatric melioidosis involving a previously healthy seven-year-old boy who presented with right lobar pneumonia complicated with a 5-cm lung abscess. Ceftazidime was initiated on Day-6 of admission when (ceftazidime-susceptible, minimum inhibitory concentration [MIC] 1.0 mcg/mL) was isolated from blood.

Background And Purpose: In lung stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) using a breath-holding technique, displacement of tumor during breath-holding is rarely considered. This study used four-dimensional (4D) dose calculation with cine computed tomography (CT) to evaluate the impact of unexpected tumor position displacement during breath-holding on the target dose of lung volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT)-SBRT.
Materials And Methods: This study included 20 cases for which tumor position displacement during end-exhalation breath-holding (range: 0.
Purpose: To propose a domain-conditioned and temporal-guided diffusion modeling method, termed dynamic Diffusion Modeling (dDiMo), for accelerated dynamic MRI reconstruction, enabling diffusion process to characterize spatiotemporal information for time-resolved multi-coil Cartesian and non-Cartesian data.
Methods: The dDiMo framework integrates temporal information from time-resolved dimensions, allowing for the concurrent capture of intra-frame spatial features and inter-frame temporal dynamics in diffusion modeling. It employs additional spatiotemporal ($x$-$t$) and self-consistent frequency-temporal ($k$-$t$) priors to guide the diffusion process.

Hyperactive c-Met signaling pathway caused by altered MET is a common mechanism underlying gastric cancer and represents an attractive target for the treatment of gastric cancer with MET alterations. However, no c-Met kinase inhibitors are currently approved specifically for the treatment of c-Met-amplified gastric cancer. Recently, bozitinib, a highly selective c-Met kinase inhibitor, has shown remarkable potency in selectively inhibiting MET-altered non-small cell lung cancer and secondary glioblastoma.

Since there has been no prior research on pneumonia in our study population, we carried out this study to learn more about the situation.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of 912 COPD patients with CAP who were receiving ICS treatment at the DHQ Hospital in Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Pakistan was conducted.
