Despite significant progress in skin wound healing, it is still a challenge to construct multifunctional bioactive dressings based on a highly aligned protein fiber coated hydrogel matrix for antifibrosis skin wound regeneration that is indistinguishable to native skin. In this study, a "dual-wheel-driven" strategy is adopted to modify the surface of methacrylated gelatin (GelMA) hydrogel with highly aligned magnetic nanocomposites-protein fiber assemblies (MPF) consisting of photothermal responsive antibacteria superparamagnetic nanocomposites-fibrinogen (Fg) complexes as the building blocks. Whole-phase healing properties of the modified hydrogel dressing, GelMA-MPF (GMPF), stem from the integration of Fg protein with RGD peptide activity decorated on the surface of the antibacterial magnetic nanoactuator, facilitating facile and reproducible dressing preparation by self-assembly and involving biochemical, morphological, and biophysical cues.

Intra-orbital organic foreign body injuries occur within the eye but without the involvement of the orbit itself. A 39-year-old man self-presented to the emergency department complaining of sudden onset of pain surrounding his left eye and of reduced vision. The initial examination was unremarkable except for two healing lesion marks above his left upper eyelid.

To address the issues of infectious virus, bacterial secondary infections, skin pigmentation, and scarring caused by monkeypox virus (MPXV), a sprayable hydrogel with versatile functions was developed with comprehensive properties. Based on current research, the bioactive deep eutectic solvent (DES) of rosmarinic acid-proanthocyanidin-glycol (RPG) was designed and synthesized as active agent, and molecular docking was applied to discover its binding to MPXV proteins through H-bonds and van der Waals interactions, and the docking results show the binding energies between RA, PC, Gly and MPXV proteins are -58.7188, -50.

The evaluation of thyroid lesions through Fine-Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNAB) is a common procedure that requires advanced hand manipulation skills. Conventional training models for this procedure lack essential features such as tactile sensation and the ability to repeat punctures similar to those of real organs. To improve the quality of training, we have developed a hydrogel thyroid model that possesses features such as high-water retention and self-healing properties.

Cartilage lesions, especially osteoarthritis (OA), usually arise from aging, trauma, or obesity and require medical intervention due to the damaged site's inflammation and the cartilage tissue's poor self-healing capacity. This study aimed to prepare a drug-loaded nanoparticle hydrogel system with anti-inflammatory and chondroprotective effects to treat OA.
