Purpose: To develop a technique for radiation (RT) of in-transit path ways (IT) in Merkel cell carcinoma.
Method: In the planning study, IT were ink-marked on the skin during sentinel lymphscintigraphy and wire-marked in planning-CT. Pre- and post-operative planning-CTs were acquired. The clinical target volume (CTV) included tumor bed plus safety margin, IT and draining nodes, the planning volume (PTV) the CTV plus 0.5-1cm margin. VMAT plans with 2-3 arcs were analyzed.
Results: A planning study was performed for five pts. including two pts. with primary tumor (PT) in head and neck, 1 pt. each with PT of elbow, forearm and upper leg respectively. Plans showed satisfactory PTV coverage: D 100%±0%, D 92.4%±2.24%, homogeneity index (HI) 0.095±0.01, conformation number (CN) 0.84±0.01 and conformality index (CI) 0.95±0.01.
Conclusion: The planning study confirms feasibility of highly conformal irradiation of IT pathways based on individualized target delineation. Currently, patients referred for non-metastatic MCC are encouraged to enroll in a prospective clinical study that evaluates the feasibility of radiation of IT pathways.

Aim: The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based care plan learning strategy with standard training techniques in order to determine how it affects nursing students' learning results in newborn resuscitation.
Methods: Seventy third-year nursing students from a state university in Türkiye participated in the study. They were split into two groups: the experimental group, which received care plans based on AI, and the control group, which received traditional instruction.

Studies of in situ plant response and adaptation to complex environmental stresses, are crucial for understanding the mechanisms of formation and functioning of ecosystems of anthropogenically transformed habitats. We study short- and long-term responses of photosynthetic apparatus (PSA) and anti-oxidant capacity to complex abiotic stresses of common plants Calamagrostis epigejos and Solidago gigantea in semi-natural (C) and heavy metal contaminated habitats (LZ). We found significant differences in leaf pigment content between both plant species growing on LZ plots and their respective C populations.

Wheelchair propulsion is a fundamental skill in wheelchair sports, particularly in wheelchair tennis. To achieve optimal mobility during wheelchair athletic performance, it is essential to consider propulsion techniques. This study examines the effect of push frequency and stroke duration on wheelchair maneuverability, measured by velocity during propulsion, among wheelchair tennis athletes.

Lycium barbarum is an important economic crop in the arid region of Northwest China, and the regulation of irrigation and fertilisation is an important way to improve the quality and yield of Lycium barbarum. To explore the effects of water-fertiliser coupling on photosynthesis, quality and yield of Lycium barbarum under irrigation methods based on predicted crop evapotranspiration (ET), ET was calculated via reference evapotranspiration (ET) predicted on the basis of public weather forecasts, and the irrigation water volume was determined as a proportion of this ET. A field experiment was conducted via a completely randomised experimental design with five irrigation water volumes (W0 (100% ET), W1 (90% ET), W2 (80% ET), W3 (70% ET) and W4 (65% ET)) and three fertiliser application rates (high fertiliser (FH), medium fertiliser (FM) and low fertiliser (FL)).

Background: Studies on acceptance of cosmetic surgery may not be cross-culturally invariant, but little is known about it in non-Western populations. Therefore, it is necessary to develop cross-cultural research on it.
Methods: 230 international students in China aged 18-27 years (M = 21.
