There are several special situations in which urinary lithiasis presents management challenges to the urologist. An in-depth knowledge of the pathophysiology, unique anatomy, and treatment options is crucial in order to maintain good health in these patients. In this review, we summarize the current literature on the management of the following scenarios: bladder stones, stones in bowel disease, during pregnancy, in association with renal anomalies, with skeletal deformities, in urinary diversions, and in children.

Purpose: The current geopolitical situation and climate changes accentuate the importance of health preparedness. The aim was to examine the in-hospital preparedness for Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI) and Major Incidents (MI) on a national level.
Method: A web-based, cross-sectional study of in-hospital preparedness for MCI/MI in Norway.
The journal Lancet Psychiatry is launching a Commission for Youth Mental Health, in response to the widely reported finding in the media of a significant deterioration in the health of young people worldwide in recent years. The aim of this commission is to gain a better understanding of the factors that have led to this situation, and to offer care adapted to the needs of this segment of the population. In Lausanne, following the publication of a manual on psychotherapy for psychosis, a training course has been set up to promote this type of care, which is all too often denied to patients suffering from psychosis.

Background: Psychological flourishing is a component of positive mental health that characterizes the lives of nursing and health technology students, despite the stressful situations they experience during this training. The objective of this study is to evaluate psychological flourishing and to put the thumb on its importance in the training of nursing and health technique students.
Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study was conducted at the two higher institutes of nursing and health technical professions in Fez and Rabat between 1 March and 30 March 2022, using a questionnaire containing socio-demographic characteristics, training characteristics, a perceived stress scale (PSS10) and a psychological flourishing scale.

Extracranial carotid artery aneurysm (ECAA) is a relatively rare vascular lesion of the neck, and is usually found incidentally and is usually asymptomatic. Surgery is currently the first choice for symptomatic or growing ECAA, including open resection of the entire aneurysm, with or without arterial replacement and insertion of grafts. Ischemic stroke is the most serious complication after resection of ECAA.
