The incidence for congenital heart block is estimated as high as 1 in 15,000 live births. Up to 90% of cases of congenital heart block, in which there is no anatomical abnormalities, are attributed to maternal systemic lupus erythematous or Sjögren's disease. 50% of these mothers are asymptomatic at time of diagnosis.

Background: Caesarean section (CS) is an important indicator of access to and quality of maternal health services. The WHO recommends the Robson 10-group classification system as a global standard for assessing, monitoring and comparing CS rates at all levels. Identification of the Robson groups that contribute the most to the overall CS is important to determine possible modifiable factors in our attempts to reduce the CS rate.

Phthalates are ubiquitous environmental pollutants known for their endocrine-disrupting properties, particularly during critical periods such as pregnancy and early childhood. Phthalates alter lipid metabolism, but the role of prenatal exposure on the offspring lipidome is less understood. Background: Parental postpartum co-morbid anxiety and depression negatively impact personal well-being, family dynamics, and child developmental outcomes. This study investigates the prevalence of co-morbid anxiety and depression in both mothers and fathers during the first 2 years postpartum in China, and to explore its associations with parental family support, maternal health-related quality of life (HRQoL), and child development.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in China, involving families with children aged 0-2 years who participated in community child health care.

Purpose: to compare the Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) plasma concentrations of pre-pubertal and pubertal daughters born to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) mothers to daughters born to control mothers and to investigate their alterations during pre-puberty and all stages of puberty.
Methods: We critically investigated and meta-analyzed observational studies, which compared the plasma concentrations of AMH in pre-pubertal and pubertal daughters of PCOS pregnancies. A search of the literature was completed till the end of June of 2024 in the PubMed, Scopus, and Medline for the eligible studies.
