Background: Our authors from around the world met to summarise the available knowledge, decide which potentially modifiable risk factors for dementia have compelling evidence and create the most comprehensive analysis to date for potentially modifiable risk factors to inform policy, give individuals the opportunity to control their risks and generate research.
Method: We incorporated all risk factors for which we judged there was strong enough evidence. We used the largest recent worldwide meta-analyses for risk factor prevalence and relative risk and if not available the best data.

Objective: Low and middle income countries of Africa account for a disproportionate amount of the global health burden of cancer. Providing patients access to psychosocial oncology and palliative care through policy structures such as the National Cancer Control Plans (NCCP) is essential to improving the care provided to patients and their families. The first phase of this study sought to determine the extent to which palliative care and psychosocial oncology were integrated in NCCPs in African countries.

Optimal patient care is directed by clinical practice guidelines, with emphasis on shared decision-making. However, guidelines-and interventions to support their implementation-often do not reflect the needs of ethnic minorities, who experience inequities in chronic kidney disease (CKD) prevalence and outcomes. This review aims to describe what interventions exist to promote decision-making, self-management and/or health literacy for ethnic-minority people living with CKD, describe intervention development and/or adaptation processes, and explore the impact on patient outcomes.

Objective: Testicular cancer (TC) is one of the most common cancers among young men, with survival rates exceeding 97% due to effective treatments. Post-treatment follow-up care is important for long-term survival and monitoring psychosocial symptoms, yet TC survivors (TCS) show poor adherence to post-treatment care. Mobile-health-based interventions show high acceptability in men with cancer.

As discussed in their review, opioid use and abuse in pregnant patients have increased four-fold in the past decade.
