3D bioprinting is an advanced manufacturing technique that involves the precise layer-by-layer deposition of biomaterials, such as cells, growth factors, and biomimetic scaffolds, to create three-dimensional living structures. It essentially combines the complexity of biology with the principles of 3D printing, making it possible to fabricate complex biological structures with extreme control and accuracy. This review discusses how 3D bioprinting is developing as an essential step in the creation of alternative food such as cultured meat and seafood.

Plastic pollution, especially microplastics (MPs), is a severe environmental threat. Due to the significant environmental issues posed by plastics, it is critical to use an effective and sustainable degradation technique. The study aimed to isolate and identify Indigenous bacterial strains from landfill leachate (LL) to evaluate its potential for degrading Polypropylene microplastics (PPMPs).

The trichloroethylene production industry generates high-boiling-point solid residues during rectification, which contain high concentrations of chlorinated contaminants, particularly hexachlorobutadiene (HCBD). Traditionally, these distillation residues are managed through co-incineration or landfilling, leading to environmental and economic challenges. In this study, we present a rapid and environmentally friendly electrothermal approach for both detoxifying and upcycling distillation residue into graphene-based electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbing materials.

The Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) have drastically transformed industries by enhancing efficiency and flexibility but have also introduced substantial cybersecurity risks. The rise of zero-day attacks, which exploit unknown vulnerabilities, poses significant threats to these interconnected systems. Traditional signature-based intrusion detection systems (IDSs) are insufficient for detecting such attacks due to their reliance on pre-defined attack signatures.

Menin (MEN1) is a well-recognized powerful tumor promoter in acute leukemias (AL) with KMT2A rearrangements (KMT2Ar, also known as MLL) and mutant nucleophosmin 1 (NPM1m) acute myeloid leukemia (AML). MEN1 is essential for sustaining leukemic transformation due to its interaction with wild-type KMT2A and KMT2A fusion proteins, leading to the dysregulation of KMT2A target genes. MEN1 inhibitors (MIs), such as revumenib, ziftomenib, and other active small molecules, represent a promising new class of therapies currently under clinical development.
