Programs that provide services for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Colombia, South America face challenges when attempting to engage and enroll the target population of forced migrants they intend to serve. Innovative multi-strategy outreach approaches must be used in order to effectively seek, recruit, provide services, monitor, and retain IDPs.

Background: Bicondylar tibial plateau fractures are often associated with significant soft tissue compromise making operative treatment challenging. Dual plating through a two-incision approach following temporary external fixation has been shown to improve complication rates although deep infection rates remain high. The objective was to evaluate early outcomes following a novel technique of percutaneous application of the medial plate superficial to the pes anserinus tendons.

Accurate rupture risk assessment is essential for optimizing treatment decisions in patients with cerebral aneurysms. While computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has provided critical insights into aneurysmal hemodynamics, most analyses focus on blood flow patterns, neglecting the biomechanical properties of the aneurysm wall. To address this limitation, we applied Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) analysis, an integrative approach that simulates the dynamic interplay between hemodynamics and wall mechanics, offering a more comprehensive risk assessment.

Context: The two-dimensional graphene/MoTe heterostructure holds extensive potential applications in optoelectronic devices, sensors, and catalysts. To expand its optical applications, this study systematically investigates the adsorption stability of metal atoms (Au, Pt, Pd, and Fe) on the graphene/MoTe and their influence on its optoelectronic properties employing first-principles methods. The findings indicate that after the adsorption of Au and Pd, the structure retains its direct bandgap properties, while the adsorption of Pt and Fe exhibits indirect bandgap characteristics.

Introduction: Olecranon fractures account for 5-7% of elbow fractures, making them a common injury. The majority of these fractures are treated surgically because they are intra-articular and can disrupt the elbow extensor mechanism. Mayo Type II fractures are displaced with a stable ulnohumeral joint, indicating intact ligamentous structures, particularly the anterior portion of the medial collateral ligament.

Objective: We aimed to assess the recent trends in the demographics of radial head and neck fractures and their management based on displacement.
Methods: TriNetX was queried for cases from 1 January 2017, through 31 December 2022. ICD diagnosis codes were used to define patient cohorts with radial head or neck fractures.
