Indium phosphide (InP) quantum dots (QDs) are promising alternative heavy-metal CdSe QDs for light-emitting diode (LED) application. However, their highly reactive core surface is prone to oxidation, which reduces the photoluminescence quantum yield (PL QY) and impedes subsequent shell growth. Traditional etching methods using HF aqueous solution are problematic as water can induce reoxidation during or after etching.

Biomarker detection has emerged as an essential complementary approach for early-stage screening of tumors. Conventional methods are constrained by bulky systems, cumbersome operation steps, and low detection accuracy. Here, we demonstrate a dual-resonance optimally configured lossy mode resonance (LMR) immunoprobe for detecting prostate-specific antigen (PSA), a biomarker for prostate cancer (PCa).

Background: Indium, a rare heavy metal, extensively used in flat panel display manufacturing, poses potential respiratory health risks to workers. Preserved ratio impaired spirometry (PRISm), a term describing nonobstructive lung function abnormalities, is associated with adverse health outcomes. Despite known risks, the relationship between serum indium levels and PRISm remains underexplored.

We aimed to explore the role of Indium (In), Terbium (Tb), Yttrium (Y), and Lanthanum (La) in the serum of women with recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) and compare them to controls. Additionally, the study aimed to examine the relationship between REE levels and oxidative DNA damage, to identify potential risk factors contributing to RPL. This case-control study included 30 RPL cases and 30 controls with uncomplicated pregnancy.

The determination of field-effect mobility in indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) is pivotal for advancing high-performance electronic devices. However, accurately evaluating the field-effect mobility in IGZO-TFTs with short channel lengths of less than a few micrometers poses a formidable challenge. This difficulty arises due to the increasing significance of contact resistance in the total resistance as the channel length decreases.
