Background And Objective: Spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) imaging can be used to visualize polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) lesions in the en face plane. Here, the authors describe a novel lesion quantification technique and compare PCV lesion area measurements and morphology before and after anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) treatment.
Patients And Methods: Volumetric SD-OCT scans in eyes with PCV before and after induction anti-VEGF therapy were retrospectively analyzed. En face SD-OCT images were generated and a pixel intensity thresholding process was used to quantify total lesion area.
Results: Thirteen eyes with PCV were analyzed. En face SD-OCT PCV lesion area quantification showed good intergrader reliability (intraclass correlation coefficient = 0.944). Total PCV lesion area was significantly reduced after anti-VEGF therapy (2.22 mm vs. 2.73 mm; P = .02). The overall geographic pattern of the branching vascular network was typically preserved.
Conclusion: PCV lesion area analysis using en face SD-OCT is a reproducible tool that can quantify treatment related changes. [Ophthalmic Surg Lasers Imaging Retina. 2017;48:126-133.].

Erythrodermic psoriasis (EP) is a life-threatening variant of psoriasis. In this study, we contrasted the vascular endothelial cells (ECs) in EP lesions against those in psoriasis vulgaris and healthy controls. Utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry on human and mouse samples, we observed a marked increase and activation of EP ECs, which upregulated genes relative to angiogenesis, leukocyte adhesion and antigen presentation.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to add to the limited literature of Focal Scleral Nodule (FSN).
Methods: This study was a single-centre, retrospective, observational case series performed at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (United Kingdom). Nineteen eyes from nineteen patients over a thirteen year period (January 2011 to January 2024) were included.

This case report describes Zoon's vulvitis or plasma cell vulvitis (PCV) with coexisting lichen planus (LP) treated with methotrexate. PCV is a rare, chronic, benign idiopathic inflammatory condition of the vulvar mucosa, characterized by a bright-red, chronic lesion of mucosa. Typically, it presents as atrophic, shiny, red plaques that can affect any part of the vulva and can spread symmetrically and bilaterally with the propensity of chronicity and gradual coalescence.

Background: Mycotoxins are considered one of the most important problems and threats that face poultry producers.
Aim: This study was conducted to investigate the pathological, hematological, and biochemical alterations in chickens fed on mycotoxins contamination ration.
Methods: 434 feed samples were collected from poultry farms operating in Babil Governorate/Iraq, where feed samples were collected over the course of 2023, and these samples were tested by direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to determine the level of mycotoxins.

Background: Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) is a complex vascular disorder characterized by a branching neovascular network with polypoidal lesions at its termini. Despite extensive research, the etiology and pathogenesis of PCV remain inadequately understood, and the condition exhibits significant clinical and pathological heterogeneity. In recent years, numerous studies have identified potential subtypes within PCV and proposed various classification schemes.
