Background: Central nervous system tumors (CNSTs) represent a significant oncological challenge in pediatric populations, particularly in developing regions where access to diagnostic and therapeutic resources is limited.
Methods: This research investigates the epidemiology, histological classifications, and survival outcomes of CNST in a cohort of pediatric patients aged 0 to 19 years within a 25-year retrospective study at the Civil Hospital of Guadalajara, Mexico, from 1999 to 2024.

Study Objective: This study analyzes emergency medicine airway management trends and outcomes among community emergency departments.
Methods: A multicenter, retrospective chart review was conducted on 11,475 intubations from 15 different community emergency departments between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2022. Data collected included patient's age, sex, rapid sequence intubation medications, use of cricoid pressure, method of intubation, number of attempts, admission diagnosis, and all-cause mortality rates.

Background: Community mobility is a vital patient-centered outcome for older adults living in the community. These deficits in mobility are linked to social isolation, increased hospitalizations, and higher mortality rates. Impaired pulmonary function may be a modifiable risk factor for mobility decline, with existing inequities in lung health potentially contributing disproportionately to mobility loss among Black older adults.

Objective: Sodium polystyrene sulfonate (SPS) and sodium zirconium cyclosilicate (SZC) have been used for treating acute hyperkalaemia. The pharmacodynamic properties of SZC suggest greater theoretical utility in the acute setting than SPS, but there is no clear guidance on an optimal potassium binder. This study evaluated the efficacy of SZC and SPS in the treatment of acute hyperkalaemia.
