Primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) is a rare and aggressive B-cell lymphoma typically associated with human herpesvirus 8 (HHV-8) and Epstein-Barr virus infections. It classically presents as a malignant effusion in body cavities, but rarely presents with an extracavitary variant characterized by solid tumors in lymph nodes or extranodal sites such as the gastrointestinal tract, skin, lungs, and nervous system. This case report describes an unusual presentation of primary cutaneous extracavitary PEL in an HIV-positive patient that has only been reported in 8 cases previously.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the vulva (vSCC) is currently categorized either as human papillomavirus (HPV) associated or independent. Immunohistochemical stains, p16INK4a (p16) and p53 are helpful biomarkers to support the designation of vSCC into 1 of the 3 tumor pathways: (1) HPV-associated, (2) HPV-independent, TP53 mutant, or (3) HPV-independent, TP53 wild type. Recently, a framework of p53 expression patterns in vSCC was proposed.

Background: Xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) is a genodermatosis, characterized both by premature aging and significantly increased risk of non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancers at an early age. However, limited literature is available on the common histopathological subtypes of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) in these patients.
Methods: In this ambispective case series, we recruited patients of XP who had either a currently present skin tumor or previously excised one, provided their histopathological sections were available.

Background: Melanocytic tumors with perineuriomatous differentiation may pose diagnostic challenges. This study explores characteristics of perineuriomatous melanocytic nevi, an entity merging features of perineurioma and melanocytic nevi. The aim is to elucidate histopathological features of perineuriomatous nevi to allow dermatopathologists to recognize them and differentiate them from other spindle cell lesions.
