Early pregnancy loss (EPL), also known as miscarriage or spontaneous abortion, makes up 15-20% of all clinically recognized pregnancies. EPL is a broad term that includes intrauterine pregnancies (IUPs) with findings that suggest the pregnancy may not progress or definitely will not progress; pregnancies with a gestational sac (GS) in the lower endometrial cavity or endocervical canal in the process of expulsion; residual pregnancy tissue or persistent GS; and complete passage of the GS without residual tissue. This document addresses medication management of EPL in which the complete passage of the GS has not yet occurred, including pregnancies concerning for and diagnostic of EPL (sometimes called "missed abortion") and EPL in progress.

Objectives: Despite protections offered in California, there is limited understanding of abortion access in underserved regions, including the Central Valley. Furthermore, there has been limited community involvement, especially from those directly affected, in the development of research priorities in abortion care. We utilized the Research Prioritization of Affected Communities (RPAC) protocol to identify research priority topics and research questions for future abortion-related research.

Materials And Methods: Eighty-two (82) participants were recruited from 5 clinical sites in the United States. Each participant performed self-collect sampling using the self-collect device followed by a standard of care clinician-collected sample.

Introduction: Drug use behaviors are closely associated with increased risk for HIV and other STIs among men who have sex with men (MSM) globally. Less is known about the drug use characteristics and their association with HIV/STI risk among MSM in Mexico, who have 13 times higher risk of acquiring HIV than the general population. We characterized distinct classes of drug use behaviors among a nationwide sample of MSM in Mexico and tested their associations with HIV risk behaviors.
