Essential thrombocythemia (ET) is a type of myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN) disorder characterized by persistent thrombocytosis and characterized by frequent association with cellular genetic alterations. The 10%-15% of ET that is not associated with genetic abnormalities is known as triple-negative essential thrombocythemia (TNET). A common complication observed in around 20% of ET patients is the development of acquired von Willebrand disease (AvWD).

Unlabelled: Despite recent advances, the regulation of anticancer and antimicrobial bioactive compound (AABC) production by leukocytes remains poorly understood. Here, we demonstrate that inactivation of the DNA- and RNA-based Teazeled receptors of the Universal Receptive System in human leukocytes generated so called "Leukocyte-Tells," which showed enhanced AABC production. Comprehensive analysis of the AABCs produced by Leukocyte-Tells based on LC/MS identified 707 unique or differentially produced peptide or non-peptide metabolites.

Colloidal drug aggregates (CDAs) are challenging in drug discovery due to their unpredictable formation and interference with screening assays. These limitations are turned into a strategic advantage by leveraging CDAs as a drug delivery platform. This study explores the deliberate formation and stabilization of CDAs for local ocular drug delivery, using a modified smallmolecule glaucoma drug.

Background: Paediatric sarcomas, including rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma and osteosarcoma, represent a group of malignancies that significantly contribute to cancer-related morbidity and mortality in children and young adults. These cancers share common challenges, including high rates of metastasis, recurrence or treatment resistance, leading to a 5-year survival rate of approximately 20% for patients with advanced disease stages. Despite the critical need, therapeutic advancements have been limited over the past three decades.
