Cyclosporine is an immunosuppressive drug that is used to prevent tissue rejection in organ transplants and to treat autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis. It has important toxic effects in many organs such as the liver and kidney. The aim of this study was to determine and compare the effectiveness of the single and combined treatment of dipyridamole, which is a vasodilator and has an antioxidant effect, ketotifen which is toll-like receptor-4 inhibitory and has an antioxidant effect, quercetin which is an antioxidant and has an anti-inflammatory effect in cyclosporine-induced hepatorenal toxicity.

Introduction: Cyclosporine A-associated neurotoxicity has been reported in up to 40% of patients and its wide range of neurological adverse effects have been reported, ranging from mild tremors to fatal leukoencephalopathy. Extrapyramidal (EP) neurotoxicity is a rare manifestation of cyclosporine. Cyclosporine-induced extrapyramidal syndrome remains a rare adverse reaction.

Cyclosporine (CsA) is considered one of the main components of treatment protocols for organ transplantation owing to its immunosuppressive effect. However, its use is very restricted due to its nephrotoxic effect. ZW is an alkaline fluid rich in various trace elements and has a great ability to stimulate antioxidant processes.
